Assunta Takeshina Sex: female Age:21 Birthplace: Unknown Alignment: Althena Magic: None Weapon: Naginata Hero: None Relationships: None (Family dead) She was found and raised by a dojo master after nearly dying in the wild. Her parents were running from a certain people, and were killed. She was left, covered in the forest. The dojo master found her a day later and took her home to raise and teach her. He taught her everything he knew, and she learned with much enthusiasm. She trained everyday of her life to become the best fighter she could be, so she could repay the one she knew as her father for raising her. She is a girl of little words and emotion. She never knew anyone outside her clan. She rarely ever left her home unless instructed to by her father to go on a mission, thus depriving her of much human emotions and experiences. As a young child, she learned and excelled fighting with a naginata. It is a hard weapon to master, and she's mastered it. She is skilled with many other weapons, but the naginata is her weapon of choice. She worked hard to make her father proud and to honor both him and his dojo. When she returned from her latest mission, she found her clan slaughtered and her home burned to the ground. Because she was away, she had no real insight on what army massacred the clan, but there was one clue that she found in the rubble: a token dropped by one of the viscious murderers involved. It was marked with an insignia of a tiger, but she did not recognize it. Lack of experiences in the outside world deprived her of such knowledge. She set off to find the clan who bore the insignia to avenge the people she grew to love as her family. Though full of vengeance and a straight goal in mind, she will have to learn about the world outside the dojo to survive and accomplish her new mission. Her outlook and determination drives her to become the best she could be. They serve as her only grasp on the rest of humanity, and the stepping stones to finding herself.

Eve (Evelyn) SunChaser Sex: Female Age: 23 Birthplace: Unknown Alignment: Althena Magic: Druidic powers (nature sense/animal charm) Weapon: Dire flail Hero: None Relationships: One brother Eve refuses to be called Evelyn. Most people don't know her full name. Her original surname lies buried with the bones of her mother and father. SunChaser is her Ranger name. Eve stands five feet, five inches. Her height is no handicap to her fighting prowess, however. She holds her own very nicely. Her long hair is so blonde, it gleams a lustrous white, the color of the full moon. Her eyes have been described as a 'wolfish' yellow. She has the lean build and easy stance of a long-roving fighter. Her history is unique, to say the least. She was born to a small farm family, the eldest of four children. Her mother died soon after the birth of the youngest son. Her father believed very highly in destiny, and something in her baby girl's eyes told she was to be a fighter, the protector of the clan. Her father was a Ranger, and once Eve was five years old, he began her training. He, however, was not the only one who saw potential in the young woman. A Druid Master who often traveled with Eve's father took it upon himself to also teach the child. Between Father and Master, she was soon mistress of the dire flail (a deadly but difficult weapon to master) and weilder of Druidic powers, also fluent in the secret druid language. Her two younger sisters wanted nothing to do with fighting. They were quietly content to stay at the farm and work the land, making things grow. It was Eve's brother, Nathaniel, that was a worry. He had wanted to learn the arts of the fighter, but something about the young boy told his father to never put a blade in his hands. The boy turned to begging Eve to pursuade their father to change his mind. Eve waited until they were escorting her Master and a few other druids through the dangerous woods to a sanctuary. "Father, Nathaniel wants to learn to use a weapon." Eve had said. Her father and Master looked very grim. "What do you think of that, Eve?" her father said softly. Eve's eyes had glinted hard that night. "I think to put a weapon in the boy's hands would be to assign death to countless innocents. I have seen eyes gleam before... with hope, joy, and even desire. But I have never seen such a gleam in the eyes of anyone as I do in my brothers eyes when he talks of learning to use a weapon. I hope to never see that gleam of dark hope turn into reality." Her master and father were impressed. Nathaniel would never learn to use a weapon. Until one day... Eve's father had died a few years back, before this dire day. Eve had returned from an assignment she had taken as a Ranger. The farmhouse was in shambles, her two sisters brutally murdered. A knife was in her pillow, the words "you next" scratched into the blade. Eve summoned her courage, and followed the trail of several sets of footprints. She recognized them... young men Nathaniel had been hanging about with, young men she had forbidden her brother to see... It took months. Her Master joined her crusade, and it was one night, with no moon, that the bandits sprang upon them. Eve proved her prowess with the dire flail, slaying several of the bandits. It was then her brother rushed from the woods. He went in to hug Eve, but she pushed him away. "You saved me!" he was crying, but his eyes told the truth. He turned to hug the old druid Master. "And you, old friend..." Eve lunged to him, and pulled him off just as his knife dug into the old Master's flesh. "Fiend!" She tried to attack him, but something helped Nathaniel away... a strange looking woman rushed from the trees, saying, "Come my son!" Eve nearly dropped her flail. The master was shaking his head, holding a hand to his bleeding wound. "A member of the Vile Tribe. Eve, I'm sorry the truth comes this way. Your brother is merely your half brother. He is Vile." Now, Eve is traveling alone in the world. She seeks her half brother, Nathaniel BlackDog as he has been called. She knows she must slay him, to collect the blood debt for her sisters. But... he is still her little brother. She continues to guide people through dangerous frontier, using her skills as Ranger and Druid. Yet she keeps one eye open.. always.
